There’s a lot more to open source and automation than the code. The Selenium Project values leadership, empathy, and communication (and more!) to build a welcoming, inclusive community. We want to offer a workshop that is vital to every OSS community or automation team, and ultimately, success.
Inspired by the iconic warrior of peace, Dr. Patty Evans will discuss how five basic Wonder Woman principles can be the key to successful Community Leadership.
Those with high emotional intelligence can quickly read a room, clue into subterfuge, and more easily show respect and empathy. Dr. Evans will teach how leaders can develop their emotional intelligence and use it to their advantage to manage their team to greater success.
Learn how to use your emotional intelligence to your advantage and manage your team to greater success:
This workshop is for anyone in (or looking to be in) a leadership role, but also beneficial for any individual contributor looking to add to their skill set beyond the code
We want to make this workshop as inclusive as possible, and so are subsidising a number of places for individuals who might not be able to otherwise attend. You can help us achieve this by purchasing our 'Inclusion bundle' which contributes towards these spots.
Inclusion bundle: $299
This ticket secures a place at the workshop for yourself, and also helps funds a spot for an individual who would not otherwise be able to attend.
Standard ticket $199
A single ticket for yourself
If you would like to apply for a fully subsidised place at the workshop, please fill in this form. Applications close August 17 at 5pm CDT.
